Indexical, Autographic Visualization

We will look at a perspective that explored the limits of data visualization in terms of metaphoric and symbolic expressions, and how to reveal data instead of showing it. From the 90s to the 20s, we will explore Indexical Visualization and Autographic Visualization, which deal with visualization as a phenomenon in the context of ubiquitous computing.
